- This can be used for a continuous running power source which can engage and disengage having a complete, fractional or multiple revolution
- Also, The latch can be electrically or pneumatically actuated which engages the rollers driving cage
- The unit function by simply, the inertia coming from the driven parts forces that inner race to travel on ever contacts withing an internal stop
- It is within the inner race over travel that the roller is detached from the clamping angle which then is automatically disconnected to its clutch
- With the removal of external latch, it enables the roller to go back in its driving position
